What is the COM3000?
The Vantiva (formerly Technicolor) COM3000 is a commercial-grade satellite headend platform engineered for lodging, institutions, and large-scale venue deployments. It receives and distributes DIRECTV programming across an IP or QAM network to thousands of endpoints simultaneously.

COM51 HD Receiver Blade
The COM51 is the newest receiver blade in the DIRECTV commercial family. It supports up to 23 HD channels per blade (8 active tuners, expandable via SWCOM51 licenses) and is capable of tuning DIRECTV 4K content. Output is available simultaneously over IP and QAM without channel duplication.

QAM20 EdgeQAM — RF Distribution Engine
The QAM20 slots directly into the COM3000 or COM421 chassis and provides RF cable distribution for DIRECTV HD content. Supports up to 3 HD programs per QAM channel, can mix HD and SD content, and accepts MPEG-over-IP from external sources. Expandable to 48 QAM channels via software license.
